Great Olympics trainer Bismark Kobi Mensah has credited his players for their narrow win over Hearts of Oak in the Ga-Mantse derby.

The Dade Boys secured victory over the Phobians at the Accra Sports Stadium in matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday night.

Defender Samuel Abbey Ashie-Quaye scored from the spot in the second half to hand his side an all-important victory.

After the game, Kobi Mensah who recently replaced Yaw Preko commended his players for their positive mentality that led to their victory against the Phobians.

“Seriously, the credit goes to the players. They have worked hard with discipline, with character and momentum. You saw the solidarity among players, it is good. I think we deserve to win this game. They (Hearts) saw more of the ball but we the clearest chance and we scored. Mentally they were read and they’ve gotten the results today.”

Great Olympics travel to Abrankese to face King Faisal for the next game on March 4, 2023.
