2022/23 Ghana Premier League: King Faisal currently worst club in ongoing campaign after losing five consecutive games

The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season is gradually shaping up after five match days already into the new campaign.

While clubs continue to find their rhythm, others are already in the right groove and have established the intent to fight for the league title.

In an early assessment of the performance of the 18 participating clubs, the footballghana team has identified King Faisal as the worst club in the division.

The Kumasi-based club started the new season with a clash against Berekum Chelsea on the opening weekend.

After failing to impress, King Faisal suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Blues at the end of the 90 minutes.

Subsequently, the club has gone on to lose four different matches and is now on a five-game winless run.

Over the weekend, the team was hoping for a first win of the season but lost 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars.

Courtesy of the horrendous start to the new Ghana Premier League season, King Faisal are now bottom of the Ghana Premier League season.

The team must turn things around immediately or face a long relegation battle after the world cup break.
