2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 14: Bechem Utd come from behind to hammer Legon Cities 3-1

Bechem United displayed impressive resilience on Friday afternoon to come from behind to brush aside Legon Cities FC with a 3-1 victory in the Ghana Premier League.

Today at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Royals hosted the Hunters in a Week 14 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

In a very exciting contest, Legon Cities scored in the 14th minute to take the lead, giving the home fans every right to cheer in joy.

Unfortunately, the hosts could not hold onto the lead for long. Later in the 29th minute, a strike from Emmanuel Avornyo in the 29th minute restored parity to the game for Bechem United.

While the first half would end on level pegging, Bechem United took control of the contest and hammered Legon Cities FC.

The Hunters created a number of chances and scored twice through poster boy Clinton Duodu and talisman Hafiz Konkoni in the 58th and 78th minutes respectively.

With the win today, Bechem United have moved to second on the Ghana Premier League standings with Legon Cities still 12th on the log.
