City and Medeama put up a fantastic performance despite being wary of each other's attacking strength, with the Citizens looking forward to the prospect of racing out of the relegation zone.

Although the game was goalless in both halves, with both sides firing wide off target, it was the home side that came out strong after the break but failed to score.
The Yellow and Mauve kept the home side's attack at bay till the game concluded.
Tamale City remains in the relegation zone in 17th position on the league table with 16 points and Medeama SC is 7th with 24 points.
