Bibiani GoldStars held King Faisal to a goalless draw on Monday afternoon in match week 22 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Kumasi.
Both teams ended the game with ten men as a moment of madness ensued toward the end of the game.
The draw sees King Faisal maintain their 16th position with 25 points while the Gye Nyame lads moved a place up to 7th with 32 points from 22 games.
It was a cagey affair between the relegation battling hosts are their top four chasing visitors as the first half ended in a stalemate.
The second period also failed to produce any goals. In additional time, both teams had players sent off for second yellow cards. Farouk Adams was given the marching orders for the visitors while King Faisal saw Ibrahim Suraj given an early shower.
King Faisal will play as guests to Kotoku Royals on Friday, March 24 in week 23 of the league while GoldStars will host Samartex two days after.
