2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 26: Tamale City v Bechem Utd preview

Published on: 13 April 2023

The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season is set to resume this weekend after breaking for the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.

This weekend, all 18 participating clubs will be in action. The games will be played from Friday, April 14, to Sunday, April 16.

On Saturday, one of the two matches scheduled to be played will be a contest between Tamale City FC and Bechem United Football Club.

Form Guide:

The hosts, Tamale City have struggled to compete all season and are currently part of the three clubs in the relegation zone.

Although the team has had good moments and won some good games, things have generally not gotten better after their troubling start to their debut Ghana Premier League campaign.

In the last five matches of the team, Tamale City have picked up a bit as the team fights to climb out of the red zone.

Unfortunately, the two wins, two draws, and one defeat were not enough.

Now just three points away from getting out of the red zone, Tamale City hopes to beat Bechem United this weekend.

Unfortunately, the task may be too big for the team.

The opponent, Bechem United have proven to be one of the strongest sides in the league this season.

Nicknamed the Hunters, the team scores for fun and could inflict more trouble on Tamale City this weekend.

Bechem United go into this contest with 41 points from 25 games and second on the League table.

Predicted scoreline:

Based on the form of the two teams, Bechem United could easily run riot over Tamale City FC.

Tamale City 1-4 Bechem United.
