CK Akonnor released his 32-man squad for camping ahead of the AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Pricipe which featured only local players.
A lot of them were made up of Ghana Premier League players but the shocking ones were three players from the Division One League.
Etti Evans of Accra Lions, Andy Kumi Francis of Unistar and Welbeck Takyi of Bofoakwa were included in the list.
It is believed that the three chosen players have been sensational in the Division One League season and Akonnor took notice.
They will hope to impress during the camp which will start on 15th February.
