The Super Eagles of Nigeria have called for support ahead of the second leg tie against the Black Stars of Ghana.

Nigeria held the Black Stars to a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on Friday.

Ahead of the return encounter billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, the Super Eagles have called on the fans to fill the stadium to the brim on Tuesday.

“Thank you to you all for your support always, we need it now more than ever”

“We will love to see you fill the Moshood Abiola National Stadium to the brim on Tuesday. Everywhere Green, everywhere white. See you on Tuesday! #soarsupereagles,” reads a message on the team’s Instagram page.

Nigeria arrived back in Abuja in the early hours of Saturday morning after Friday's game and have started preparing for the second leg in Abuja.

With the 0-0 draw in the first leg, a win would be enough to secure Nigeria's place at World Cup finals.

Meanwhile, Ghana need a scoring draw or a win to eliminate their West African rivals and reach Qatar.

Black Stars are expected to travel to Abuja on Monday ahead of Tuesday's crunch match.

The game will take place at the 60,000 capacity Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has given approval to Nigeria to have 60,000 spectators for the return leg in Abuja.
