2022 World Cup: Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim included in Black Stars provisional squad

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has been included in the World Cup provisional squad.

Otto Addo has announced his 55-man provisional squad and is expected to trim the list to 26 players, before Ghana’s first game at the World Cup on November 24 against Portugal.

Ghana has been housed in Group H at the mundial against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

The Black Stars will open their World Cup account against Portugal on November 24 before taking on Uruguay and South Korea respectively.

The biggest soccer mundial has been scheduled for November and December this year, with 32 countries set to battle it out for the covetous trophy in Qatar.

The list released by Otto Addo has Danlad Ibrahim as one of the goalkeepers to fight for World Cup ticket.

He is expected to battle with Jojo Wollacot, Richard Ofori, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen and Lawrence Ati-Zigi The squad released on Friday by Otto Addo.

Aside Danlad, Hearts of Oak duo of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Denis Korsah are the only local players to make the list.
