Clermont Foot defender Alidu Seidu has urged Ghana coach Otto Addo to believe in himself ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 48-year-old released a 55-man provisional list last week Friday but the squad will be whittled down to 26 on Friday for the tournament which is scheduled for Qatar from November 20 - December 18, 2022.

Black Stars have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

"All what I can say to Otto Addo is get the confidence because Ghanaians will talk," Seidu said on Star Connect as monitored by footballghana.com.

"The players that he is going to call even if I'm part or not, I will always try and support Ghana and I know the players who will be going to the World Cup will give their best."

Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.
