2022 World Cup: Ghana FA announces date for Coach Otto Addo to unveil Black Stars final 26-man squad

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that there will be a live telecast event for Black Stars head coach Otto Addo to announce his final squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In a communiqué on Thursday, the GFA said Coach Otto Addo will announce his final 26-man squad for the tournament on Monday, November 14.

“Black Stars Coach Otto Addo will announce his squad for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 at 11 am on Monday, November 14, 2022.

“This follows the announcement of the provisional 55-man squad last week. The 26 players will represent Ghana at the mundial in Qatar,” the GFA statement has said.

The statement added, “There will be live broadcast of the event on DSTV channels 222 and 229, GOTV channel 134, the Ghana Football App, and the YouTube channel of the Ghana Football Association.”

At the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ghana has been drawn in Group H to face off with Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea.

The Black Stars will play their first match against Portugal on November 24.
