2022 World Cup: Ghana will be last in Group H - ESPN prediction

Published on: 06 April 2022

Ghana will have the opportunity to revenge their quarterfinal loss to Uruguay in South Africa in 2010, when Asamoah Gyan missed a stoppage-time penalty after Luis Suarez had stopped a certain goal by handling the ball on the line.

ESPN, an American sports media outlet, has predicted that Ghana will finish last in Group H after all the group games are completed.

According to their prediction, Portugal finished first in Group H, followed by South Korea, and Uruguay in third place in the group.

ESPN predicted South Korea will lose to Brazil in the round of 16, and that Brazil would win the World Cup.

All other African countries are expected to be eliminated in the group stage, namely Cameroon in Group G, Morocco in Group F, and Tunisia in Group D. Only Senegal will progress from Group A.

Ghana has been described as a young and emerging team by the American sports media outlet.
