2022 World Cup playoffs: Jordan Ayew teams up with Black Stars teammates in Kumasi for Nigeria games

Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew has joined his Black Stars teammates in Kumasi today ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoff games against Nigeria.

The Crystal Palace forward was out of action on Sunday in their FA Cup win against Everton.

Jordan was in isolation after contracting Covid-19 ahead of the game.

However, after a second test on Tuesday, the striker was Covid free ahead of the games.

Jordan arrived in Ghana on Wednesday and has joined his Black Stars teammates on Thursday morning in Kumasi.

The Black Stars will hold their final training today with Jordan Ayew expected to train with the team today.

Ghana will host the Super Eagles on Friday, March 25 at the Baba Yara Stadium in the first leg of the playoff games.

Kick-off is at 19:30GMT.

The return game is scheduled to be staged at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on Tuesday, March 29 in Abuja.

The Black Stars are hoping to return to the Mundial for teh fourth time having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia in 2018.
