Legon Cities secured a 3-1 win over Real Tamale United at the WAFA Park in Sogakope in match week 14 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The Royals scored three goals in nineteen minutes to make it back-to-back wins after last week’s away win over Great Olympics.
The win means Legon Cities move to 8th on the league table with 18 points while Real Tamale United drop to 16th with 14 points - now into the relegation zone.
Kwabena Boateng opened the scoring for Legon Cities in the 14th minute as they looked ready to party.
Suraje Yusif Kamal added a second for Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side nine minutes after the first goal.
It was not long until Christian Adjei added the third ten minutes later to put the game beyond the visitors.
21 minutes to the end of the game, Real Tamale United got a consolation goal through Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyeli as the game ended 3-1 in favour of Legon Cities.
