Medeama head coach, Augustine Evans Adotey, says his team has put their memories of the humbling loss in Egypt behind them and are now focused on the game against CR Belouizdad.
The Ghana champions are set to host the Algerian powerhouse at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, December 1, 2023.
This was after the Mauves and Yellows lost 3-0 to Egypt giants Al Ahly in their maiden game in the competition, a game they were able to hold on for more than an hour without conceding in Cairo.
Adotey spoke about how his team was written off by the media against Al Ahly and they were able to hold on for more than an hour before conceding.
He said that defeat is behind them and they are now very much looking forward to the Belouizdad game.
“The past is gone. My focus now is on Belouizdad. The match is tomorrow and preparation is ongoing.
“I am ever ready for tomorrow’s game.”
