2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Aduana Stars host Berekum Chelsea in first Bono Derby on Week 4

The first Bono Derby of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season will be played during Week 4 of the campaign.

This has been confirmed in the official league fixtures for the upcoming football season released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea over the years have been rivals and also produce an amazing contest when the two face off in the Ghana Premier League.

Next season, the Bono Derby will be no different.

In the communique from the football association, it said the first round of the new season will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18 at the respective match venues across the country.

The first round will end on December 29, for the league to go on a month-long break to make way for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament which will be staged in Cote D’Ivoire from 13 January – 11 February 2024.

The second round of the season will kick off from February 23-26, 2024 at the respective match venues.

The league which is expected to be very competitive and exciting will end on June 16, when the Round 34 games are played.
