2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 1 Match Report – Nsoatreman 2-0 Bechem United

Nsoatreman FC have hit the ground running after beating Bechem United at the Nana Koramansah Park in the Ghana Premier League opening day.

The Nsoatre-based club inflicted a 2-0 win over Bechem United to ensure they got off to a flying start to the Ghanaian top-flight.

Maxwell Konadu’s outfit scored on either half to secure the three maximum points on Sunday afternoon.

Goals from Manaf Umar and Eric Osei Bonsu propelled Nsoatreman FC to victory in the thrilling clash.

In a spirited performance, the host opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Manaf Umar, who joined the club from Real Tamale United in just ended transfer window.

Manaf Umar marked his debut for the Nsoatre-based with a goal against Bechem United.

Nsoatreman FC doubled their lead in the encounter through Osei Bonsu after hitting the back of the net from the spot in stoppage time.

Konadu’s outfit are off to a flying start and will hope to maintain their form throughout the season.

Meanwhile, it appears the departure of coach Kasim Mingle and other top players including Hafiz Konkoni and Kofi Agbesimah affected the Hunters in the game.
