FC Samartex held Accra Great Olympics to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday in match week 11 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The draw means the Dade boys move from 8th to 5th on the league table with 16 points after 11 games.
Meanwhile, the visitors are still 4th on the league table with 17 points, four points away from the league leaders Aduana FC.
Great Olympics are coming into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Dreams FC while Samartex beat Asante Kotoko 1-0 in their previous game.
The game did not produce any goals in the first 45 minutes as they went into the break still level.
It was the same case in the second, as Great Olympic’s bid to return to winning ways did not materialise.
Great Olympics will take on defending champions Medeama SC at the Tarkwa Akoon Park on Saturday, November 25, 2023, in match week 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
Meanwhile, FC Samartex are set to host Real Tamale United at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena a day later on Sunday, November 26.
