Heart of Lions ended their run of two consecutive losses when they held Nsoatreman FC to a goalless draw at the Nana Kromansah Park on Sunday in match week 12 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
Despite the draw, Lions are still without a win this season from 12 matches since returning to the Ghana top flight.
For Nsoatreman, it is a missed chance to go top of the league after leaders Aduana FC lost at home to Accra Lions. However, they are level on points with the Fire boys (21).
Heart of Lions are still stuck to the bottom of the table with 8 points from 12 games.
The game did not produce any goal either in the first or second half as both teams could not conjure anything to win the three points and further their title and relation fights, respectively.
Nsoatreman will play GoldStars while Heart of Lions will host Dreams FC – which is expected to be postponed because Dreams have African commitments – in the next round of the Ghana Premier League.
