Nsoatreman FC suffered their third straight defeat in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday after falling to Samartex in matchday 21.

In a highly competitive clash, the Timber giants played host to Nsoatreman FC at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.

Samartex prevailed in the much-anticipated encounter after inflicting a 2-0 win over their opponent on home turf. Before this game, both teams had suffered two consecutive defeats in the Ghanaian top-flight.

The Sameraboi-based club suffered narrow defeats to both Nations FC and Bechem United in their last two games.

Nsoatreman FC, on the other hand, had also suffered defeats in their last two games against Hearts of Oak Dreams FC respectively.

Putting on a stellar performance, Samartex defeated Nsoatreman FC to return to winning ways in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Winger Evans Osei Wusu opened the floodgate for Samartex after just 18 minutes into the game before Emmanuel Keyekeh scored to cement the win for the host in the 32nd minute mark.

Samartex are now five points clear at the top of the Ghana Premier League table with 38 points.

Meanwhile, Nsoatreman FC, who has been in dismal form continue to drop on the league log and are currently 6th with 30 points.

Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu has now come under intense pressure following his outfit unimpressive perfromance since the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.
