Nsoatreman FC have finally halted their winless run in the Ghana Premier League after beating Medeama SC at the Nana Koramansah Park on Sunday.

The Nsoatre-based club made their home advantage count after inflicting a 1-0 win over the Yellow and Mauves to end their three games winless streak.

Before this game, Nsoatreman FC had suffered three consecutive defeats to Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC and Samartex respectively.

But Maxwell Konadu and his charges ensured they beat the reigning league champions on home turf to return to winning ways in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Nsoatreman FC broke the deadlock in the additional minutes of the first half and went to the break with the advantage.

And with no additional goal, the home team cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points at stake.

The win sends Nsoatreman FC to fourth position with 33 points after 22 matches into the campaign whiles Medeama sits 9th spot with 29 points.

It is noteworthy that the Yellow and Mauve have two outstanding games due to their involvement in Africa.
