The game between Samartex FC and Legon Cities have come to an end with the home team carrying the day to bag all three points.
Samartex FC today hosted the Royals in n a Week 8 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
In a game played as a midweek fixture, Samartex FC has a strong start to the contest and scored as early as the 10th minute.
A good team move was finished off by Emmanuel Mamah who converted the final chance in fine fashion.
While that goal will separate the two teams at halftime, Legon Cities FC came in strong in the second half hoping to turn things around.
Unfortunately, it was not meant to be as the hosts had too much quality for the visitors to deal with.
Thanks to second half goals from Emmanuel Keyekeh and M Ephson, Samartex FC cruised to a thumping 3-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes to secure all three points.
