Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey has been included in the Black Stars final 27-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Ghana coach Chris Hughton has presented his squad for the continental showpiece to the media at the Alisa Hotel today, January 1, 2024.

Lamptey was one of the eleven home-based played to have made the 55-man provisional squad released two-weeks ago.

The deputy captain of the Ghanaian giants has finally made the final list for the much-anticipated tournament to be staged in Ivory Coast this month.

The Black Stars will be competing for the title in neighbouring country, Ivory Coast next month as the search for a fifth AFCON title continues.
