Over 20,000 tickets have reportedly been purchased for Ghana's thrilling 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola, according to Nhyira FM.

Dr. Kwame Kyei and Moses Parker each contributed to the purchase of roughly 1,500 tickets, which were handed to football fans so they would show up in large numbers for the game, about four days earlier.

Football fans in Kumasi trooped to the Baba Yara Stadium to welcome the Black Stars and also stayed to watch the team train ahead of the game.

Black Stars returns to the venue that saw Ghana draw goalless with the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs in March last year.

With four points, Ghana is now leading Group E, however, this is only because of goal differential, since the Palancas Negras also has four points and also wants to win the group.

The Black Stars will be travelling to Luanda on March 27, 2023, for the reverse fixture.
