Ghana's U-23 national team, the Black Meteors, is gearing up for their crucial match against Morocco at the ongoing 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim expressed confidence in their preparedness for the game, emphasizing the significance of securing a victory.

After a successful start in the tournament with a win in their opening match, Ghana is set to face the host nation, Morocco, in their second group game on Tuesday, June 27.

A win in this encounter would guarantee the Black Meteors a spot in the next stage of the competition. However, if they drop points, they will have to rely on their final group game to determine their fate.

During a press conference held on Monday afternoon, Danlad Ibrahim addressed the media and discussed the challenge that lies ahead for his team.

Recognizing the importance of the upcoming match, he stressed the need for a strong performance to secure qualification to the next round.

“We know what is at stake tomorrow. If we win, we qualify to the next stage of the competition,” he said.

“We will just learn from our mistakes from the previous game. We will go all out and concentrate for 90 minutes and we know we will win.”
