Coach Ibrahim Tanko has named a strong starting XI to take on Algeria in the second leg of their CAF u-23 Afcon qualifier game which will kick off at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Captain Daniel Afriyie Barnieh makes a return to the squad after missing the first leg due to suspension.

The forward missed the first leg due to a red card he received in the last CHAN tournament.

He will start upfront for the Black Meteors this afternoon and will have Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah as attacking partners.

After yet another impressive performance in the first leg, Danlad Ibrahim retains his position in post for the national U23 team.

Ghana’s defence will be manned by David Oppong Afriyie and Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye on the right and left respectively.

At the heart of defence, Aaron Essel will once again partner Alex Sarfo Opoku.

Ghana will have Dominic Nsobila, Emmanuel Essiem, and betPawa Premier League player of the month of February Abass Samari Salifu.

The GFA and MOYS announced yesterday that popular stand and center line are free while VIP is 35 cedis. Members of the team have urged fans to troop to the stadium to support them.
