2023 U23 Africa Cup of Nations: Match officials for Ghana's crucial clash against Guinea confirmed

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the match officials for the final Group A encounter between Guinea and Ghana at the 2023 U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Elmabrouk Muhammed, hailing from Libya, has been appointed as the center referee for this crucial fixture.

Muhammed will be joined by a competent team of assistants, including Wael Hannachi from Tunisia and Youssef Mohamed Mahmoud from Mauritania.

Gamouh Youcef has been designated as the fourth official for the match. Meanwhile, Bouhtane Said from Comoros has been assigned as the Match Commissioner.

The highly anticipated encounter between Guinea and Ghana will take place at the Grand Stade de Tanger, with the kick-off scheduled for 8 pm GMT.

With a 5-1 defeat against Morocco on Tuesday, Ghana is third in the group with 3 points from their opening two games, behind Guinea (also 3 points) due to goal difference.

The Atlas Lions are on top of the group with 6 points after edging out Guinea in the opening game and mauling Ghana.
