Former Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong says there will  be a lot of expectations for Prosper Narteh Ogum in his second coming as head coach of the Porcupine Warriors.

Ogum led the Porcupines to clinch their 24th Ghana Premier League title during the 2021/22 campaign and resigned from his position just before the start of the subsequent season.

The former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) head coach is returning to Asante Kotoko for the 2023/24 season after being named as head coach by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, as part of his Interim Management Committee (IMC).

Speaking to Citi Sports about Ogum's second coming, Frimpong said a lot will be expected of him because of what he achieved in his first season.

“A lot will be expected from him this time around, most of the players he worked with in his first stint are not there, so he’s going to work with different players this time around.”
