Abdul Baba Rahman officially returns to Chelsea

Ghanaian defender Abdul Baba Rahman has returned to 2021 Champions League winners Chelsea after a successful loan spell at Greek side PAOK.

The left-back was sent to PAOK by Frank Lampard after he was left unimpressed by the defender's efforts during the preseason.

Rahman pushed on and became an important part of PAOK's setup. He eventually caught the eye of Black Stars coach CK Akonnor and earned another callup to the national team.

He now has to prove himself during the preseason with Thomas Tuchel watching from the sidelines.

Rahman is currently valued at around €2.5 million by Transfermarkt. He joined the Blues in 2015 from Augsburg for over €20 million but has moved from club to club on loan deals since then.
