Asante Kotoko ace Abdul Fatawu Safiu says he sees positives from their exit from the 2019 Caf Confederation Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors crashed out of the competition following their 2-1 defeat to Zesco United in Zambia.

Coach Charles Akunnor's side needed a win to qualify for the quarter-final of the Caf inter-club competition for the first time since 2008.

The seven points the Reds picked up were not enough to secure them a qualification ticket after an impressive start to the competition which saw them pick up six points in their first three games.

The midfielder on his twitter handle stated that difficulties in life do not destroy one's opportunity rather help realise hidde talents.

"Difficulties in your life do not destroy you, but to help you realize your hidden potential an power".

"Let difficulties know that you too are difficult".

Fatawu featured in Kotoko's defeat to the Zambia side on Sunday as they were eliminated from the competition.
