Aduana Stars coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has admitted that they lost to a better side on Saturday.

The Ogya lads were hosted by Accra Lions in the matchday 31 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

However, the title ambitions of the two-time Premier League champions was dented following a 3-0 defeat to Lions.

Baba Apiiga opened the scoring account from a free kick, Evans Botchway doubled the lead in the second half before red-hot Bassit Seidu sealed the win with a header in the last ten minutes.

The defeat means Medeama SC have leapfrogged Aduana Stars from the top of the league following their impressive win against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

In a post-game interview with StarTimes, the experienced gaffer is playing no blame games this time and credited their opponents for deserved victory.

“Well, to be honest, we lost to a better side," he said.

"They played better than us and we lost so we will see what happens," he added.

Aduana now sit 2nd on the pile with 52 points and will host Dreams FC in the matchday 32 games at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
