Aduana Stars coach Yaw Acheampong eyes good finish in the Ghana Premier League

Aduana Stars tactician Yaw Acheampong says his outfit will work extremely hard to finish in a good position at the end of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The two-time league winners are currently third on the standings with 46 points after 30 matches into the campaign so far, training log leaders Samartex by nine points.

It appears Yaw Acheampong has given up on the title race and has therefore set sights on leading Aduana Stars to finish in a good position.

“The target was to win the league but sometimes you don’t get what you want. We will push as much as we can to see how it goes”

“We still have four games to go and all the games are very difficult but we will work very hard to finish in a good position at the end of the campaign” he said.

Aduana Stars will take on second placed Nations FC in matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

With two points separating both teams, the fire boys will be aiming to secure maximum points on home turf to overtake the Premier League debutants.
