Borussia Mönchengladbach's latest signing, U-17 world champion Charles Herrmann, is gearing up to showcase his talents in the professional ranks of the Foals.

The 18-year-old German-born Ghanaian is scheduled to join the Bundesliga team's preparations from July 8th, as reported by Bild.

Herrmann, a left winger, made a cost-effective move to Gladbach, with the club only paying a low six-figure training fee. He is currently honing his skills with the U23 team under coach Eugen Polanski, aiming to acclimate to his new club environment.

Roland Virkus, the club's manager, has assured that Herrmann will be given ample time to develop. "We will give Charles the time to develop," Virkus stated post the signing, which saw interest from both national and international clubs.

As per Bild, Herrmann is also expected to participate in the training camp towards the end of July. However, Gladbach plans to closely monitor his progress during the initial phase. Depending on his transition from junior to senior level, Herrmann could potentially secure a spot in the squad for the upcoming season.
