Ghana Premier League giants, Aduana Stars are now favourites to win this season’s MTN FA Cup after knocking out Asante Kotoko.
The Dormaa-based club on Sunday locked horns with the Porcupine Warriors in a Round 16 clash of this season’s MTN FA Cup competition.
Following a close contest between the two Ghana Premier League clubs, a solitary strike from Sam Adams was enough to help Aduana Stars to secure a 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko.
Courtesy of the result, Aduana Stars are through to the quarter-finals of the domestic cup competition.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have been eliminated and must try on winning the MTN FA Cup next season.
With Aduana Stars now in top form, it appears the team is the side to beat in the domestic cup this season.
Although there are some good sides heading into the quarter-finals, Aduana Stars look the better side among them all.
