Head coach of Aduana Stars Wilson Tandoh has expressed his disappointed over his side’s 1-1 draw with Asante Kotoko in the NC Special Competition on Thursday.

Despite failing to qualify to the semi finals of the competition, Aduana Stars were looking to spoil the party of the Porcupine Warriors but Emmanuel Gyamfi’s first half header meant they had to share the points with the visitors.

Speaking after the game, the retired military officer wasn’t happy with the results but insisted his side were always underdog due to their lack of preparation prior to the tournament.

“I personally was disappointed with the results.

“For history Kotoko has never putting a ball in the net of Aduana Stars here in Dormaa, so I was disappointed when the ball went into my net,” he said.

“However, is good I played against my former boss and I’m OK. We take it like that.

‘We started our preparation very late. I always repeated that we are underdog.

“At least we should have been able to qualify the team to the last four,” he added.

By finishing fourth, Aduana Stars will play in the round of 32 of the Tier Two League.
