Aduana Stars head Coach W.O. Tandoh is confident he has a good team to compete in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which starts on this Friday.
As part of preparations for the new season, the defending champions played out a goalless draw against Ivorian side African Sports in a friendly game at the Nana Agyeman Badu Stadium.
Speaking to reporters after the game, he said: "I will urge all our supporters to come and support us on Sunday in our league game."
"We are going to prove to the critics that we have a good team for the league so we entreat everyone to come to the stadium and support us.
"We played very well against African Sports even though we are not playing competitive football but all those who came to watch can attest to the fact that we played well", he concluded.
Aduana Stars will face Inter Allies in their league opener at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Sports Stadium.
