Aduana Stars players to undergo Covid-19 testing on October 2

Published on: 29 September 2020

The entire playing body of Aduana Stars Football Club will undergo testing for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease before returning to training ahead of the upcoming football season.

The Dormaa-based club just like all other clubs in the country has been away from football since March when the government placed a ban on all football activities to curb the spread of the Coronavirus disease.

After 6 months, the government has finally lifted the ban on football and clubs can now prepare for the 2020/2021 football season.

Per the requirement, every club needs to test players and officials for the deadly disease before group training starts. In line with that, Aduana Stars has informed its players to report for the test this Friday.

“Management of the above club respectfully request all its players and technical team to report on October, 2nd 2020 for the necessary Covid-19 protocols in order to resume training”, the letter from the club signed by Deputy CEO George Gyawu has said.
