The Black Galaxies started the game well and took control of the midfield. The attackers also tested Benin's goalkeeper.

The hosts, Benin, warmed up for the game by attempting to break the Black Galaxies' back line, but all their efforts went wide off target.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored once more to propel the Black Galaxies to a 1-0 victory and a 4-0 aggregate victory.
