Al Jolan Sports Club sign Ghanaian defender Godfred Yeboah

First Division side Al Jolan Sports Club have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Godfred Agyemang Yeboah ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The 24-year-old joins the club on an initial one-year deal with the option to extend at the end of the season after passing his medicals.

He has been without a club since leaving Ghana Premier League side Karela United in 2021 following the expiration of his contract.

Yeboah started training Al Jolan in the middle of August and has been impressive in the pre-season games he has played so far.

Al Jolan are a newly-promoted side in the Iraqi second-tier and the aim going into the upcoming season will be maintain their status at the end of the season.

Yeboah will be coming up against his compatriots Nuru Sulley and Prince Opoku Agyemang who have both signed for Duhok Sports Club in the Iraqi First Division.
