Alexis Sanchez Responds Defiantly on Instagram Following Reports of Bust-Up With Arsenal Teammates

Things really aren't going well for Arsenal at the moment.

But amid the rumours of a fall out between Alexis Sanchez, his teammates and manager Arsene Wenger, the Chilean forward has publicly stated he remainscommitted to the Gunners ahead of their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Sanchez took to Instagram on Monday to post a message of defiance in the wake of the reported rift, posting an image of himself celebrating with the caption: "The true warrior fights not because he hates the ones in front of him, but because he loves those behind him. Let's go Gunners. The only failure is not trying."

Sanchez was controversially dropped against Liverpool on Saturday evening, in a game that saw Arsenal slip out of the Champions League positions, and according to reports in the Telegraph, the Chilean was involved in a training ground bust-uplast week, which saw him leave the session early.

It has been suggested that this caused an angry reaction from several ofhis teammates, and forced the Arsenal manager to step in and diffuse the situation.

However, Wenger has since denied there was a spat, and had previouslyclaimed on Saturday night that Sanchez was dropped for 'tactical reasons'.

The incidenthas only increased the already prominent rumours that the former Barcelona man is on his way out of the Emirates at the end of the season.

Sanchez's contract is set to expire in the summer of 2018, and the Gunners' hierarchy do not seem willing to meet the 28-year-old's wage demands. Therefore, speculation has been rife that the club could sell Sanchez this summer and avoid losing himfr nothing12 months later.

IfSanchez does indeed decided to leave north London, he will not be short on potential suitors, withChelsea, PSG and Juventus all keen on the Chile international.

With all that going on, it would be easy to forget that Arsenal have a Champions League tie on Tuesday night.TheGunners look doomed to be eliminated in the round of 16 once again, having lost the first leg5-1 against Bayern three weeks ago.
