It is believed that Alexis Sanchez will ignore all of Arsenal's best efforts to keep him and opt to join Serie A giants Juventus in the summer.

The Sunreports that the rumours coming out from theItalian pressclaim that the Chilean international wants to join Juve at the end of the season and turn his back on the North London club.

Directors at the Italian club, Fabio Guild and Giuseppe Marotta, are believed to want to add the signing of theEmirates star to that ofLyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso in the summer and believe that a fee of around £25m will be enough to bring the player across.

The forward's contract will expire in June 2018 and with no signs of an extension being signed the warning signs are ominous for the Gooners.

It is believed that the former Barcelona man wants around £250k-per-week, but this would mean that Arsenal would need to break their wage structure to accommodate the player's demands.

Despite prolonged talks between both parties there appears to be no sign of an imminent agreement and with the Serie A leaders waiting in the wings, Arsenal will not want to allow the striker to leave for free in 18 months time.

Juventus wanted to sign the 28-year-old when he left Udinese in 2011,but missed out when hesigned for Barcelona instead, and they will probably not want to miss out a second time if the striker leaves.

If Sanchez were to leave North London this summer, he would be a big loss to Arsene Wenger's side as he has already scored 20 goals in 34 appearances for the Gunners.
