Ghanaian defender Alidu Seidu is generating interest from clubs in England, Spain, and France as the transfer window approaches, according to reports.

The 23-year-old player, who currently represents Clermont Foot, has caught the attention of several teams due to his impressive performances.

As the transfer window is set to open this June, several clubs have expressed keen interest in acquiring the services of the versatile defender.

Newcastle United from the English Premiership, Sevilla from the Spanish La Liga, and Olympique Marseille, one of the giants in French football, are among the teams vying for Alidu's signature.

Alidu started the 2022/23 French Ligue 1 season in exceptional form before joining Ghana's national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. Despite it being his first major international tournament, he showcased his skills and made a significant impact.

Unfortunately, during a league game against Lille in February, Alidu suffered an injury that required surgery. The operation was successful, and after a period of recovery, he made a strong comeback to secure his place in the Clermont Foot squad.

In total, he played 29 games across various competitions, contributing to the team's eighth-place finish in the recently concluded season.
