Annor Walker to part ways Great Olympics as head coach due to illness

Accra Great Olympics head coach, Annor Walker is set to part ways with the club due to illness, Footballghana.com can confirm.

The veteran trainer has not been in the dugout for the last two matches played ie Aduana Stars and Ashgold.

Walker has steered the club for a good run in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

But after failing to sit in the dugout, the two times Ghana Premier League have failed to win their last two matches with all ending in defeat.

However, a board speaking to Footballghana.com confirmed that Annor Walker is likely not to return to the club again due to illness.

"It doesn't look like he [Annor Walker] will return to the club again due to his condition," the board member said.

"He does not look and I don't think if I am a family member I will allow him to return to Great Olympics," he added.

Annor Walker was named as the head coach of the club on February 2020.
