Nigerian fans are still outraged about the Super Eagles' inability to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and have demanded that the NFF apologize to former coach Gernot Rohr.
Fans have resorted to social media to criticize the Nigerian Football Federation's decision to fire Gernot Rohr.
The Super Eagles drew 0-0 in the first leg in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Stadium. To the disappointment of many Nigerian fans, the Black Stars would secure qualification to the world's largest football showcase following a 1-1 draw at the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Tuesday.
The fans stated that the sacking of Gernot Rohr made no sense and the NFF was wrong.
Before Gernot Rohr, Nigeria missed 2/3 AFCON. He came in and won so many games, Y'all became entitled.
Anyway, you people said he should not be praised for qualifying easily to tournaments.

I've always maintained @thenff were wrong to sack Gernot Rohr when they did. It was a decision that so obviously made no sense at all. That said, sacking Gernot Rohr is not 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 they have failed to qualify for the World Cup; appointing Augustine Eguavoen is.
