Arsenal boss Wenger hints at Prem return for Wilshere: He\'s ready to play

Arsene Wenger says Jack Wilshere is making positive strides at Arsenal.

The Englishman scored his first goal for the club in two-and-a-half years against BATE Borisov on Thursday night.

And Wenger believes Wilshere's performances in the Europa League are indicative of his progress this season.

"Look, Jack's moving forward. You could see tonight that he is moving forward and ready to play now," said Wenger after the 6-0 victory at the Emirates.

"He is sharp, he is quick, he is incisive again with his dribble and technically he was very good tonight. I would say for 70 minutes he was dominant in midfield on the creative side and that is very good news for us."
