Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Alexandre Lacazette's recovery from knee surgery is ahead of schedule.
It is understood that the knee problem had been a long-standing issue for Lacazette that required immediate attention after the 1-0 defeat at Tottenham earlier this month.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's Europa League tie against Ostersund Wenger confirmed that Lacazette was making strong progress in his recovery.
“He's doing well," Wenger said. “I think he will be ahead of his planned recovery. It should be four weeks from now, maybe three and a half weeks, so his response has been good."
