Arsenal fans love a good rant on Twitter if someone decides to criticise them or one of their players, but BBC's Match of the Day Pundit Alan Shearer almost created World War III after a comment he made on Saturday night's programme.
The former Newcastle goal-scorer was speaking of Sergio Aguero after his impressive brace against West Bromwich Albion in their 4-0 victory at the Hawthorns, and suggested that the Argentinian is the ONLY world class player in the Premier League.

Understandably bemused, host Gary Lineker questioned this statement, asking whether Alexis Sanchez is in that category also, but Shearer shut it down faster than you could say 'Arsenal Twitter Rampage'.
Then it happened. The Gunners faithful whipped out their laptops and began typing furiously, and they may have a point, with Mesut Ozil arguably world class also, while Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea fans could have been equally as annoyed after Shearer missed out David de Gea, Philippe Coutinho andEden Hazard respectively.
But all the Twitter activity was coming from North London.

I swear Alan Shearer just rustles Arsenal fans for the laughs. Obviously Özil, Alexis & Koscielny are world-class.
