Arsenal Squad Fed Up With 'Outcast' Alexis Sanchez as Teammates Side With Arsene Wenger

Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez is becoming isolated at the club, according tothe Mirror.

The Chile international's future at the club has been the source of intense transfer speculation over the last few months, with a lack of a new contract seemingly pointing towards his exit from North London.

He was left on the bench for the trip to Liverpool earlier in March amid reports of a training ground bust-up, but has since returned to the starting line-up and scored during Arsenal's 5-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Lincoln City on Saturday.

Sanchez is said to have upset the Arsenal dressing room in the last few weeks, reaching the point where the players now stand firmly beside manager Arsene Wenger regarding the dispute. One dressing roomsource told how Sanchez's conduct is affecting the rest of the squad.

"Alexis is being moody and disruptive and it's getting to the rest of the squad," the source said.

The players are getting fed-up with it. If it came to a straight choice between which side to choose, there is no doubt they would back the manager.

Sanchez could leave the club during the summer and there will be no shortage of top teams for the former Barcelona forward to choose from thanks to his fine form this season.

The 28-year-old has scored 17 goals in the Premier League this year, adding nine assists with Arsenal currently fifth in the table. The club exited the Champions League with a 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich in midweek and are 16 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
