English international of Ghanaian decent, Arvin Appiah will be hoping to enjoy a good game this weekend for Almeria when they take on Real Zaragoza in the Spanish Segunda under new boss Guti.

The former Real Madrid superstar was named head coach for the lower division side yesterday to replace Şenol Güneş who he has been understudying for the past year.

Youngster Arvin Appiah who has loads of talent is hoping to show the new boss in the dugout what he is made of when they take on Zaragoza on match week 15 at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos.

This will be the highly-rated attacker’s fifth match of the season following his £8 million transfer from English Championship side Nottingham Forest in the summer window.

A good impression on the new manager will be key for the Ghanaian who is expected to play a significant role for Almeria throughout the remainder of the ongoing season.
