Asamoah Gyan's experience is helping him to succeed in India

Black Stars general captain Asamoah Gyan believes his vast experiences to show in India with NorthEast United.

Gyan has three goals and one assist for his team in six appearances in this season's Indian Super League,  he was roped in as a replacement of the football club’s top scorer of the last season, Nigerian Bartholomew Ogbeche.

During an interview, Gyan said, “As a striker, I need to score and that is my job. If I have a bad season, it doesn’t mean that I am a bad player.”

­“I have played in a lot of competitions and I see things in a game that a lot of young players don’t. I am not perfect but I have come here to help and I think my work here is beginning to show.”
